If you took a 3 to 5 year view which one is better to invest in.

well one is a small cap that has been spiraling lately and who knows if it'll be around in 3-5 years .. the other is 100 years old and makes more in a day then ADW makes in a year .. tis not about where they will be in 3-5 years, rather it is about risk/reward ..

Really depends on your risk appetite. Only really know a bit about ADW but what i do know is that the Allegro issues are real but not necessary company destroying stuff. Also NedBank has a 5% real holding but 30% exposure via it's CFD position so it is not in it's interest to let ADW hit the wall. Christo Wiese was present at the AGM and rumours have it that he will be appointed to the board which will be positive. Assume earnings drops to around 30c then it is still trading at around 3x PE with nav probably around the 1-120 level. But you must have the stomach for the ride....otherwise stay clear.

Looking at AGI's balance sheet...they are beyond injury time...only a deeply discounted Faritec like injection will save them now.
