I wouldn't be surprised if AGL, GFI, SIM, etc have a massive upleg between now and June once the Fed cuts rates again and the world starts seeing just how big inflation is in the USA and how poorly the USDX will continue to do. Also after $150 billion is given to the poor in tax rebate cheques.

AGL doesn't have much exposure to gold.

By late 2007 they only had about 17% of ANG left. Not sure what the postion is now, is any.

Ones past $1000 I don't see gold going much further. As winter approaches the shine is taken off the bullion.

16.6% in Dec2007 to be precise, gold contributing less than 2.5% to operating profit. It's platinum (30%)and basemetal(49%) prices that will be key to a pull back...
