ALSI Futures

Why is there a difference in the ruling price between the December 2014 ALSI Futures price and the March 2015 Futures price? Surely they should be about the same? This morning there is a ~400 point difference.

I will try to answer and the forum can comment if it is correct. With the Dec contracts closing today, one can say with a greater degree of certainty what level it might be. But with the March contract closing so far away, everybody is more careful to commit to a level.
