Annual Report 2011

Am I the only one wondering why a company like Wescoal is publishing their Annual Report 2011 in a glossy 65-page book? Must have cost them a fortune, but they don't pay out any dividends "in line with the Group's growth strategy". Wrong strategy, to my mind. Without giving, growth will be slow. Just as a comparison: Sasol published their financial results for the year ended 30 June 2011 in a 13-page A5 booklet, but they pay R9.90 as a dividend. Makes you think!

Their previous mining contractor blamed their lack of performance (and subsequent dismissal) on a claim that Wescoal doesn't actually have any coal in its mines. Wescoal sued and won - but where there is smoke ???
