if BHP has a stable $ price but our Rand gets stronger against the dollar does the price on BHP (jse) go up or down?

i would imagine down, as the primary listing is not on the JSE (IMO)

Not really a valid question i think. Premarket opening will be affected by its ASX listing, so the aussie dollar is the key. Then its a tossup between the FTSE and JSE as to who drives the volumes - but I think the GBP will have the most say, if prices remain flat. Then the US takes over at 4pm.
