Basil Read case in point for smaller construction co

So the sens today points to a R10bn construction project awarded to BSR and consortium. That is significant for a company like BSR - who clocks around R6bn topline, but it is a drop in the bucket for Group 5, who need around R30bn to keep the investors off their backs. So lets assume this contract is split 33% 3 ways, BSR is looking at possibly a R4bn topline project here. OK, we still have the competition tribunal ruling and we don't know what the margins are going to be like - but that should sustain BSR for a good couple of years going forward.

To continue the theme, the core is stabalized with decent projects, and now we only need one of their improbable low cost high reward projects to kick in to make real money - or a recovery in the construction sector in general. I think BSR is out of the woods here
