Hopefully the weak rand can ease some of the pain... I very much doubt it however.

Dow futures positive by a fraction....but I suppose that's clutching at straws!

Initial over reaction with mild recovery later in the session, but overall down trend....weaker rand might hold some metals (gold, plat etc) steady for a while but related shares could suffer...OMO

If you are looking for alsi direction, look at the anchor market, the Dow. I cannot see $ strength sustaining and therefore there is more upside to come on the Dow.....small pull back now and then off we go again to 10100.(9780 is the 50% fib retrace.....9700 is 61.8%)
