Are these displayed/reflected somewhere on this site. Does STD Bank as the market maker release CFD volumes traded per day per share. How else can one determine whether the CFD is liquid enough the mitigate risk associated with non-liquidity?

CFD is as liquid as the underlying asset .. if you can trade the share at the price you can trade the CFD

Thanks Simon, do I interpret correctly what you are saying ie. Std Bank as market maker will guarantee issuing or buy (short selling) any order placed in the market for a CFD they have issued, therefore your notion CFD liquidity will always = underlying liquidity?

yes .. if teh share can trade the cfd can trade

Im also interested on buying on cfd , but there is no option on web, maybe someone knows the procedure on how to buy cfd

Miolemishi there is product material under Help tab and then Downloads. If your'e new at this, word of caution, the power of financial gearing is immense, it can make or break you.
