CFD account is always a "stand alone account", as is SSF

Thanks PC, But to register the account OST has two options, either totally separate or combined on existing account.

I have only one account, and can trade CFD's. It is however, better to have a seperate account for high risk trading, i.e. CFD's

you need to separate them to make it easier for your tax filing. Your trading account with CFD's will be deemed as revenue at SARS.

If you want to hedge, your share portfolio, then combine the CFD account with the share account . You can still have another account trading CFD only.
