CFD trail stop

When placing a trailing stop on a short/sell CFD, how will it work? If the price rises taking you into a growing loss area, does the trigger price also rise, thus negating the purpose of the stop? Never used trails before in this situation till now and now it dawns on me that it may not be a wise action. Comments please.

nope, same as a triling stop on a long trade, but in this case it onl moves lower as the stock falls ..

Thanks Simon. Trick is now to try and tie up with resistance/support levels.

Ja, it works. However must place correctly. Made a stuffup with KIO short and when got back to my screen trade closed in red. Trail too tight. Verdomp!!
