how long were the queues getting onto vessel and then for meals etc whilst on vessel?

Save your money and go cruising in the Med or Carribean. Sinfonia is still ok-ish but that other rust bucket they have sailing along our coast is another Oceanos waiting to happen.

Have done the run up our coast, ok, but agree with Jaques worth saving to do the Med, did the Med on Costa Concordia (like a city at sea} in sep last year.You are sure to gain a kilo a day on these cruises whether you like it or not.

The best option is to take the priority boarding for ZAR450 a cabin. There is no queue to embark and you will be in your cabin 30 minutes after arriving at the harbour. If you don't take it be prepared to stand for 3 to 5 hours in the scorching sun.

All cruises aroud SA are meant for not so worldly SA passangers who do not know any better!. Overcrowding and terrible food comparing to their cruises on Med it is real disaster !

M D, agree with 50% of the above, but to say the food is a disaster in my opinion you've hit the wrong note.
