DOW Crash

There hasn't been one since 1987, but it's those type of situations that have triggered it: Coming from an all time high, weak dollar, weak reports, accelerated downward movement. Probabilities are low, but there is an outside chance. These days they will even stop trading for an hour if the traders get too busy.

bush and bernacke seem to talk a lot, but their actions are too little too late. still long on topi, but i can't help wondering if this isn't like the titanic-doomed to go down. perhaps years from now traders will talk of the great stock market crash of 2008! doom and gloom aside i'm still hoping and praying for a damn good recovery SOON!

there is always an "outside chance". importantly, most crashes happen from over sold.
