Taking my gold bull hat off for a moment, I don't know. Europe seems to be weathering this a bit better than the Americans - US level of borrowing, US auto industry - so it could be the Euro or European bonds. Thanx heavens the Chinese will use US bonds as part of their rescue plan, otherwise the T-Bill collapse would have come sooner. OMO.

IF ERPM dont make money close it down why do it have to eat up the profit off DRD

Closing a mine is a very,very bad omen. It sends out all sort of negative publicity and makes all investors very jittery. Placing the mine in "maintenance" mode is more acceptable! That is what they intend doing with ERPM, the water problem is just an excuse the water has always been there.
