Dear Centwise... I'm going to give you some advice ("en ek gaan dit in die rooi taal doen vir almal se onthalwe"). However, I'm rather confident that you're going to ignore my advice and then in a few years' time, if you're still here, you will probably dispense this same advice to some other newcomer. You're going to burn your fingers badly by placing your hopes in *****py penny stocks like these. DYM has no dividend yield, no history, past results are mediocre at best and the next release will most probably be dismal due to "current market conditions". You are gambling... and you are pretty bad at it to boot! Optimistically, 1 in 5 new companies make it... that gives you a 20% chance (why not stick it all on red at the nearest casino? At least you have 50% there...) I do not believe that we are experiencing the all time big bear at the moment - the market is already showing signs of recovery, with US banks already declaring a small profit for the beginning of the year (this is my own humblest of opinions though). The market is currently screaming for you to buy all the 100's of bargains she has to offer. SOL (BEEs flocked to buy the "cheap" R356 shares a while ago - now with the EEE deal, that's EVERYONE economic empowerment, you could have bought truckloads at R225 not too long ago.) SHP, FSR, BIL, PPC... (some, with dividends in excess of 5% - that's crazy!), the list goes on. My advice to you is to stop being impatient, stop wasting money or garbage and start doing your homework. Investigate a company as if you're going to take it over... Check out past and predicted earnings, the directors, what they do with their money, do they waste it on shiny new offices in the heart of Sandton? (like Group-5) or do they save it for expansion (i.e. SHP and MTN which are popping up like mushrooms all over Africa), what's their market share? - do they have a pseudo-monopoly (i.e. MTN for example), is their business simple and straightforward? (i.e. SAB - "we sell beer!" as oppose to the complex DSY products. I worked for Discovery for over 2 years and I still don't understand their products; does anyone know what DDT does?) Centwise, I wish I were your age when I started investing! That's great initiative from your side! I salute you!! Now stop fooling around and make some real money! You have the potential to become a multi-millionaire, if you start doing this right...

SkarlakenKoos! Weereens baie dankie
