Dividends on CFD?

Does one still qualify for "dividends" after LDT should one sell the CFDs before payment date? The reason I ask, is that last week Friday (LDT), the shares were heavily sold off on the Monday, but payment of the dividend is only next week Tuesday???

as long as you held on LDT, you get the div ..
