No opinion on the direction. Some will use the drop to buy in. Depends on if Geithner says "hey, green shoots!" or "my breakfast doesn't agree with me". How can anyone believe efficient market theory after this?

It is the eternal battle of, the long trying to get into short ASAP. It seems to spike the market at opening... and then we go into the V

THESE ARE THE GUYS TO BE CAREFUL OF. Day traders must be aware of the power of market makers and specialists and use it to their advantage. A day trader cannot look at a level 2 screen and believe what he sees. Traders must take a contrary outlook and try to get into the mind of the market maker and figure out his real intentions. When the level 2 screen looks weak, the day trader must think of the reasons why a market maker would want to make the level 2 screen look weak and why he might be a real buyer. Remember, market makers make money selling on the way up and buying on the way down, and they have the deep pockets to do this successfully. As a perceptive,well-informed trader, you must be aware of the market maker's intentions. It will help you make better trading decisions. THIS IS THE 1ST PROBLEM WE HAVE

You'd be surprised as to how miss market can fool you. I remember a day earlier this year, I was in Long, Dow rallied 4% and Asia was good in the green. I slept well. Next day, we opened in the red and continued down...
