Hi Please help My ACL warrants expired and I had tried to trade them at 0c on 10 September (Market price was 1c) the trade did not go through I am still holding those warrants but dont want to buy ACL at R200 (strike price) What will happen now?

Nothing, the warrants are the right not the obligation to buy at a fixed price.

Basically u saw ur gat, don't worry u not the first and by a long shot u won't be the last. I am sitting with Sasol calls with 55 days to expiry, the underlying share is moving upwards and the warrant won't budge, the joys of trading warrants!

perhaps time decay eating into it,as a lower price have a higher rate of decay(theta)....i never trade warrants for shorter periods than 80 days.

Thanks barry, great advice, seems to be the trend will keep away from an under 90 day trade.
