As you can see from the graph of the Dow, there are many resistance barries to break through. Is the path of less resistance downwards or is the market brave enough to pop through and continue its upwards momentum? Will the market be stronger at a lower consolidated value or at a higher inflated value? What are the benefits of having the market at a higher value or at a lower value. Is the markets worth more at the lower consolidated value or is it worth more at a higher inflated value? so many questions but the answer to all of it surely is that we dont know...investors(and longs) hope the market will not go below support but want the market to go through resistance....and the shorts want the opposite..........both these parameters can be penetrated so they may be useless.

As an investor I'm more interested in the fundamentals of the company that I am contemplating investing in, and their ability to stay afloat (and even prosper) in bad times (and good). Personally think its a good time to buy. I could lose on that, but I'm hear for the long haul and investing in companies, not the market.
