Surely they'll own mobile internet data, e.g. all notebooks (and netbooks) will have 3G? Beyond that, if you're going to connect everything, they're well positioned to be the 'pipe' you use. There are a lot of video shops, cars, take-aways, etc that aren't connected...yet. My car doesn't auto-book a service, connecting to the online calendar and providing me with a bunch of possible dates and sending back info on what's wrong so they can order the parts.
