Probably a stupid question but what the hell.when applying a stop loss to an SSF does one calculate the gearing into the equation?

Well i do not think so, but i could be wrong.

no, just set the price you want out at. The gearing is a factor of the fact that you only ut down some 15% of the cost. So maybe you do in the sense that if you put a stop loss on the share at 20% withgearing you'll be down 120% when stopped out.
