Hi Everyone, I was wondering if gaps can be traded on our blue chips such as Bil, SOL etc using a CFD or SSF.

stock must have good volume if you want the gap to close fast

no, you can't. You need a tight spread and a very liquid stock. There aren't any shares like this on the JSE - IMO. Some say otherwise, I say no.

back to the drawing board i guess. i see the fini is tradeable now on sbk....

well you can trade it but you should not and the gap will close but can take more than a year, some gaps on stocks formed in 2008 and still has to be closed and some very liquid ones only closed last year, so if you in CFD or futures, then you would have a margin call by now.
