Hi guys. I need to ask a question to those who know. My father(78 years old) bought a few thousand rands shares in macadams bakery and brainwave years ago. He still has the share certificates but doesnt know what happened to the companies. I couldnt find any info on these companies but do know they were listed years ago. Now comes the stupid question... Are these shares worthless now and if not where does he go and enquire about this? Any advice appreciated.

not likely, they did a 20:1 consolidation if I recalls .. I still have my certificate, not worth converting and it reminds me to always use stop loss .. I lost a packet on this one, IPO at 100c and I got 20k of them, almost hit 600c and now about 1c (post split) ..
