Huge Volumes - MTN, VOD, SHP, WHL....etc

I have a question regarding the big trades that are done through these companies, it is in the middle of the month and the end. One transaction. Who does the buying? And for who is it? Thanks, Q

End of the month - it's probably big institutional investors, pension funds/unit trusts etc rebalancing their portfolio. Not sure about middle of the month, never noticed as such
