I went down one of anglos shafts once and allmost died of the heat, the hangover didn't help. My hat off for all the people doing that job, stoppers and the lot, i most certainly can't do what they do.

Carrol is on the right track with safety, shes playing catch up with the big industrial outfits that identified safety as a big efficiency driver 15 odd years ago, ie Dupont. Maybe not a mining competitor but a listed entity competitor. To attract investors she has to meet their terms and the current benchmarks are safety, enviro and returns, in that order. I expect a different picture in a years time when all this bears a healthy return. Get in now-ish!
