IT is Possible! - (to make money consistently)

We had a discussion yesterday regarding what could be realistically expected from day trading based on the number of contracts traded. On the RC site we put set about seeing what could be done. One of the members (previously an active member here) who had been making losses up to then took on the personal challenge (with some mentorship form me and others) in order to see what could be achieved. Over a period of just over 3 months he traded 30K (3 contracts) into 300K. That was over a year ago. He now continues to trade profitably on a daily basis...BUT...I believe (and he concurs with this) that the possibly the only reason he is stull profitable is the fact that I kept telling him he would stuff up when he got to 300K...I told him on a daily basis he would lose it all. At the start of this year he cleared out his account...went overseas a few times put the rest of the money in the bank and started with a 30K account again....thats the way u become cosnistently profitable...money managemnet and discipline...and a little help from others...Story is true and verfified by trading statements for anyone to see...he shared his journey here...http://www.realchartist.com/forum/9-challenge/459-cpss-challenge.html?limit=15&start=60

not to disagree with the story or its point, but R30 ain't been 3 contracts for a long time ?? so likely he started trading just 1 contract ??
