I reckon I sit this one out. It's going to take the next hour or so for the implications to settle in. This is another of those days where all the bunnies just mill around until one either gets horny or panics and then the rest just freak out and do the same. The US market is going to set the tone after we close.

more than 1.5 million people out of jobs in 3 months. Jan figure at -598 is highest since 1974. Unemp is up by a full 1% in 3 months. US futures are flat to mildly green.

Ignoring job data, Investors have been hanging their hopes, though, on an economic stimulus package being passed by the Senate possibly today.

It is amazing though, for the 3rd or 4th time in a row, data worse than expected, and what happens, a rally!!
