LDT vs Share Register

Can anyone please provide clarity on if I hold a share by the close of trade on the LDT, say Friday and I sell that same share on the following monday. Will I still be entitled to the dividend on the pay date, bearing in mind that I have seen that I must be registered in the share registery (shich seems to be the next friday. Can I buy a share on friday and sell on monday and still get the dividend? Many Thanks JA
