MTN Shares bought in Asonge Share Scheme

Reply
Not applicable
Can anybody advise me as to how I should go about transferring shares I bought in the MTN Asonge share offer into my name? I have a certificate of participation (which states that it is not a tradeable instrument) showing that I own shares in the scheme but don't know how to trade them or have them appear in my standard bank on-line share portfolio. Can anybody advise me or direct me to somebody who can assist. I don't a broker. The shares became fully tradeable in October 2010. Thank you, Yasmin

As you don't have a Broker, ComputerShare is your best option for the transfer of those shares to your name.

under the "help and education" menu on the left hand side, there's a "share transfer" option. I started there when I did my transfer of the Asonge shares, I forgot how the process goes.
