huh ?? a stock comes under pressure and you quuit yyour job if you work for them ?? surely you understand the very weak link between price and fundamentals over the short term ??

Well, it depends on the position, and the incentives - doesn't it. It smacks of a company in trouble, liability, risk. This may be a great opportunity to learn alot and make a difference, or an opportunity to bury your nose deep in the dwang - from a share incentive scheme perspective - I'd rather get them while they really cheap!

Hell, if they paid me enough, I'd apply for a maintenance job at the Phillipstown sewage works. You could do a lot worse than an R 207 bil market cap company like MTN. That's twice ABSA's market cap and they accomplished that in 15 years.
