Margin Refunds on 21.07.

If you sold some SSF contracts on 21.7 it is advisable to check the refund of the initial margin on your cash account. I received a refund which is more than R 14000 short of what I originally paid!!!!!!

Patrick, yes, my margin refunds were also out, but only after 19:30 or so, this morning it was 100% back to normal... thanks for notifying us - i was also a bit concerned yesterday, but am happy now...

That is correct but the refunds of the liquidated contracts were effected at the new margins although the transactions were done before the adjustments should have taken effect. This is unacceptable and I will contact JSE direct. Fortunately I have all the printouts.
