Can any of the forumites help?
Which dealer sells the cheapest version of Metastock?
Does the same dealer offer a reasonable monthly premium for daily updates from the JSE?
Does this dealer offer backup support for running their software as part of the deal?
Any dealers other than PDS/Share Friend(I use them as a base for comparison)
What are the forumites paying for their TA packages & monthly sub's ?
Run the numbers & names in your replies - thanks.

I paid about R1200 for Amibroker, and pay about the same again per year for my EOD data feed. www.sharenet.co.za
I haven't used metastock. It has a good reputation. I'm happy with Amibroken and haven't missed anything that has made me want to move.
Amibroker seems a popular choice amongst people on this forum.
But they all do basically the same thing - there is no magic in the charting package, you just need to learn how to interpret the charts they produce.

Oops - I mean 'Amibroker', not 'Amibroken'

You can download a 2 week trial version of Amibroker and feed if you request it from sharenet.
