so I have a stop set for 100percent sale of holding at a price. The low of the day is below this price but no sale transaction? Is this a data problem or is the OST system manual and someone just missed this? Anyone else have similar experiences?

No - but can easily happen (although rare with large caps)....price below your limit....you need to be more "generous" with the gap between your prices. By being too tight this could happen. On a really bad day by not doing this your loss could be painful...and continue...especially if you are not watching. As a more occasional trader I set very generous limits - it might feel that you losing but it should give you enough comfort if you cannot watch things all day...,

Yes...this can easily happen...definitely happened to me in the past when my selling price on the stop loss was higher than any buyers at that time.

My limit is set 10% below my stop so defintiely not what's causing it. Wondering if the hi lo data is correct to be honest. Don't have access to full trading history for the day. Other thought I had is that if the stop-loss was triggered by a low volume transaction maybe they don't execute?

Yes, trading index futures before 9.10 and after 16.50 is painful becos stops don't trigger....
