Moneyweb article on PayPal

A few days ago i contacted Moneyweb about PayPal and i see they have an article on PayPal at http://www.moneyweb.co.za/mw/view/mw/en/page38?oid=299705&sn=Detail My idea is that while the iron is hot people should contact the Reserve Bank and PayPal. This is especially so now that Absa is in the process of issuing debit cards allowing many more to do business on the Internet. I got an equivalent from Standard Bank and can vouch that it has worked as I used it to register with PayPal. I have emailed the Reserve Bank and PayPal about the Internet debit cards from Absa and have sent the Moneyweb article to the Reserve Bank. If people want some action they could also contact the Reserve Bank and PayPal. How about some backup here?

Well done, I saw the article. Note that if you use fastspring.com, they can accept Paypal payments as one of their options, but you still pay Fastspring's (IIRC) 10%.

People can send money to other countries via PayPal but not receive money as a South African in South Africa. eg I am selling my tunes on Boost and they only work via PayPal so I need to get PayPal and the Reserve bank to change legislation or I will have a problem getting my money. You can go to Moneweb on the Internet to read the article
