Other than Grand Parade Limited(GPL) are there any other listed companies that are bidding for one of the biggest tenders in South Africa THE LOTTO LICENCE at about R40 Billion? What are your opinions on GPL at these levels. Is the share price ramped up on speculation of the announcement in a few days time or just on a brilliant Burger King roll out so far.

well, that is a big PE - but I suppose PE's are meaningless for holding companies, some of parts being the way forward. So yes, I would say definitely the lotto is high on the expectations given this share price. What I like about them is the ability to tap into cheap BEE money for empowerment deals. I trade them though, not an investor, and I would buy more at this level - using the sheer momentum behind it
