Hi, I recently bought some MTXN.. Now I am asked for Takeups Quantity and "Perform Election"? What does this mean? Can someone please explain

By purchasing the NPL's you have purchased the right to subscribe to the rights offer. Click on the Takeup bar on the home page and complete the box. For e.g you may have purchased 100 NPL's but only want to take up 50 shares of MTX at R3.60, you can elect to do so. The 50 NPL's which you did not use to exercise your rights you can sell on the market (MTXN).

MOST important is that they expire, so you either have to sell or take them up .. or loose .. even better would to only buy what you understand ??
