Open election of a product in my portfolio - how does it work?

Hi, i purchased some shares recently and theres an open election on these shares for this company, and there's a column which says take up quantity which i need to fill. How does this work...

The take up quantity is how much are can get simply, based on the number of shares you hold - usually a ratio between shares held and take up quantity. You fill in the amount that you are allowed to take up, or less. You cannot take up more. Just fill the amount in, and press the perform election option.
