stick it into a low yeild moneymarket account, even at 5%/y you would run out of things to buy with 2.5 mil a year in interest alone (200k/month) Sure you would have fun to start with but seriously after 1 year what else could you want, you should almost have done what you want and then the eating lazy aged steak everyday and downing dom with every meal will be so boring you would just want to find something to do other than spend, spend, spend. OMO for those with a low risk investment need. High risk goto Casino, make a deal to play 5 hand of 10 mil each and bet red or black, Extreme high risk once off red or black.....

good idea, then after 1 year, one can take the profits from the money market one can allocate to day-trading or investing, then one is totally risk free and get the fun from the market...

Wells Fargo (US Bank) - Warren Buffett said not so long ago that if he had to select a single stock to put all his money in it would be Wells Fargo.

I like GND, SBK, CPI, APN, and a few more, but some are not so good to get now, but i think GND will have a good future (long term).

WEZ and Sim. You would never have to worry that you would lose touch with the working classes.

I agree GND but forget shares and look at the property market. Great bargains to be had. Buy ten well positioned places in CT or another vacation town, furnish and let them. There are many legit expenses to write off, gives you a steady income as well as capital gain
