I take the following: For now at least, it is perhaps better to use and develop systems appropriate for part-time trading, for this John has kindly offered help which I will take up. Also maybe I should focus on these things called 'life' and 'fun'. Brazen, you as generous as John? I could spring for a Wimpy meal.

I would suggest the following. If you try to day trade the entire market part time, you would go mad and loose a lot of money. Pick ten volatile highly liquid stocks in say three sectors, and get to understand the dynamics of these stocks. Trade these stocks only. Your odds in succeeding is far better
