Placing a Buy 'stop loss'

Reply
Not applicable
Hi everyone, I don't know how to search the forum, so I'd like some help: I'm trading CFDs and I'd like to set a buy trigger for a share. I don't know how to do it cuz reverse engineering the stop loss page gets me to the option of buying but it always says I can buy 0. Thanks

I think you have to have the instrument in your portfolio before you get the 'stop loss' option.

Wow that's sad, I've been placing alerts and then manually placing a trade the day I get alert (depending on whether I still want to get in). Maybe time I explore Sharenet :) Thanks

Put the shares on a watch list and select the price level at which you want to be alerted. You could create entries for the same share and play around with the alert.
