I tend to agree with your analysis and I think we underestimate the implications for SA over the next couple of years...all because of weak leadership!! Judging from certain comments above, some people are just slow to "click".

i call this whole mess the "spiral effect". one serious negative impact (power failures) causes the failure of a number of other services , eg. healthcare, retail, industrial, which then result in job cuts and ultimately poverty. that is the short of it.
