Person has R400k in a MOMENTUM money-market fund.Can he switch within the Momentum Group, to a Gold Fund ? This is all within the ambit of a Providential Fund arrangement.Please,anyone...

yes you can,just check on equinox.co.za if momentum has such a fund,but you can switch into any fund you like as long as they are regulation 28 compliant.

You can also have most ETF's and some shares via the Momentum Wealth, but the GLD remains unavailable for unknown reasoning. Same thing post retirement with living annuity but then a 70% overall limit on equities.

Yeah...I checked the box on Old Mutual Gold Fund.Since the gold shares have done nothing ( but will) and there's a weighting of 15% GLD in it.
