Results came out this morning. HEPS up 132% to 83.3cps. That gives a PE of about 30. Am I missing something or did I calculate it incorectly???

rolling forward pe appears to be about 15x which seems in line with other construction counters....still a bit rich for me, notwithstanding excellent prospects. probably worthwhile to wait for either a pullback or to defer purchase until closer to interims in Oct.

How do you calculate the PE? PE = Price per Share/Earnings per share?

Yebo....2400 cps/155 cps = 15.5x. note that this is a forward rolling pe i.e over the next 12 months to May calculated based on the pro-forma income statement published this morning....taking into account the impact of acquisitions
