I would not only buy one thing, being an investor in some banks as well as SOL i would split the money into a few shares that i believe offer value and has an excellent long term future.

I am also a big fan of index trackers - you already get the diversification you need. Right now, DBXUK is my favorite - with the pound at multi-year lows, and the FTSE coming off its lows - it is the perfect entry point. Added to that is a juicy 4% div yield on average
