SSF - June vs September

Excuse my ignorance ... Does it make a difference if I buy June SSF instead of Sept SSF. Do I lose out if I buy June and it is rolled over to Sept, as opposed to buying the Sept one now?

To roll-over the June contract will cost you one brokerage fee and the difference between the two contracts.

the sept SSF price will be alittle more than the June SSF, this is the rate of interest the market maker charges you for effectively borrowing the money

if you have any reason to believe you may hold over the close out the later dated SSF is always a better idea to save on roll over costs.

Thanks. I hadn't fully understood the difference until now.
