Telkom has been benefitting from Vodacom's superior profitability. Remove Vodacom from the equasion, and Telkom has less income, long term downward pressure on Telkom's share price. If Vodacom gets sold, Telkom will have a bundle of cash which it might distribute to shareholders, short term upward pressure on Telkom share price. Only my opinion.
