If I want to make use of Share installment, and I want to by shares worth R20 000, then I have to pay R10 000 immediately and when should the other R10 000 be paid????????' Is there a time limit as to when the difference should be paid or can you decide on the payment date? How can I see when the share installment account has been opened?

You would be well advised to use the self-help info that SCMB places under 'Education' on this website One can obtain all the answers re Instalments that you require there. Good Luck!

you never have to pay it. The instalment will expire 1 year after issue and at expiry you can roll over into the next series, or you could sell or you could take the intrinsic value. Further you can sell whenever on the open market.
