Share installments

Hi i just need some clarity with regards to share installments.This is just from my understanding i could be wrong, i need to know if i where to buy into a share installment the only way that i could lose my entire investment is when the price of the underlying share drops below the exercise price am i correct in saying this or incorrect. please advise
