This is becoming my all-time favourite! One of the few shares that simply ignored the trend of the current few months. Credit crunch? What credit crunch... Recession? What's that?

buts thats one of the patterns of any hard times... people that normally buy from woolworths shop at picknpay, people that shop at picknpay start shopping at shoprite etc. take a look at mr price, they have been fairly recession "proof" aswell... its a psychological thing i think, when times are hard to lower your standard of living... anyone else agree or am i talking the equivalent of blue bulls rugby?? (S#1T) hahaha

You're correct. People tend to buy down at these times and buy up when there's more disposable income to spend.

Mr Price will be a luxury for me soon. Gonna start checking out Ackermans and Pepstore specials. :)
