Shorting shares

Can anyone please tell me how to short a share?

you need to be able to scrip lend. as a retail investor this is impossible but you can obviously short share/indices through cfd's and futures

Apply for derivatives account. Go to quickfind....select derivative type and underlying share/index and load trade page....on trade page dont look for short or long but select SELL... and when you want to exit, select BUY....or call the call centre or go to CFD/warrants course.
