Any particular reason for the consensus to change from HOLD to SELL on 9th July 2014 ? Is this the reason for the drop in price on 10th July 2014?

I don't get the sell on this to be honest, It is a miner that really is just doing great and looking to expand into platinum as well.. Gold seems to be picking up momentum.. Got in at around 2300 and sold near 2800. Got in now again.

Thanks Guys. I also like this share but want to know why the consensus has changed from "HOLD" to "SELL".

Go to Tools > Research > Analyst Reports > scroll down to SGL. SBK has a TP of R14.00 in mind. Key risks: Maintaining the requisite cost savings and efficiency gains to meet objectives. SGL is counting on an upswing in the gold price to achieve its projected cash flow.

Well, I am a seller at these levels. Actually sold already. SGL showing weakness in the face of a weakening rand and a strengthening gold price. It seems that SA miners are getting caned across the board. Still hold AGL and GFI. Exited my Lonmin short. With platinum climbing the way it is, I think there is a long entry forming there soon.
